April 20, 2010 REGALS LOSE ALLAN
CUP OPENER 4-2 Powell River Regals
drew a tough opponent in their first game at the
2010 Allan Cup in Fort St John, B.C when they met
last year’s host and finalist South East Prairie
Thunder .Prior to the game the Regals made a presentation
in the dressing room to Haley Inkster, daughter
of former Regal Jim Inkster, who passed away recently.

21, 2010 REGALS WIN COY CUP Powell
River Regals edged the Mid Island (Courtenay) Blazers
3-2 on Saturday night to win their fifth Coy Cup championship.Prior
to the game, Hap Parker, had his banner raised to
the rafters of the arena that will bear his name.
His family, friends and former players were all on
hand to witness the ceremony where he would be remembered
for all the hard work he put into the game.

11, 2010 COY CUP COMBATANTS SET Three
senior men’s hockey teams, Mid Island Blazers,
Kitimat Ice Demons and Williams Lake Stampeders, are
coming to town to challenge the Powell River Regals
for the 97th Coy Cup championship. Each of them has
been fine-tuning rosters for this event and each feels
